The Boy meets Girl may be my favorite of the trends. It's simple to achieve  and can probably be made up of a couple of pieces in your wardrobe.
Catwalks were filled with androgynous shapes, a whole lot of black, flat workman boots, white shirts and fitted blazers. While this trend may seem easy to achieve, don't be deceived. Sadly you can't just raid your boyfriend or brothers wardrobe and through on any old pieces, you'll look homeless. Go for slimmer, sleeker and more refined shapes and look of menswear staples. Pick up some fitted or over sized blazers like 2 and 14.

Currently Reading - Spellbound (An Otherworld Novel) by Kelley Armstrong

Before  I start, in case this becomes a regular thing on the blog, I'm not a book critic, I've never written a book review before, and I tend to love everything I read.
This book is part of Kelley Armstrong's epically long running and amazing Otherworld Novels, 14 altogether I believe.  I've read them all, this series is by far my favorite book series along with The Hunger Games trilogy. Made up of 12 books all written from women of the otherworlds point of view, a werewolf, witches, demons and more. The other two books are a mix of characters.
Spellbound is written, along with it previous partner Watching the Witch from Savannah Levine's point view. Savannah is overtly powerful witch, and one of my favorite characters from the series. Whereas the previous book was much more about instigation, crime solving and politics, this book is about dealing with the consequences of these. Spellbound pulls together all the choice Savannah has made in all the pervious books, which is why I loved this book so much, it made it really intresting to read.
At the end of Waking the Witch Savannah lost her powers, her made a wishing saying she would give up all her powers in order to save a young girl, steaming from heavy helping of guilt (Which I think was unwarranted, but I'm just dead inside). She doesn't tell her wards about losing her power but does tell Adam, her partner and in crime and object of her affection, they've been dancing around one another since she was 16. However, things finally come to a head between them at the end of the book after some arguments, falling outs and dangerous situations. I actually squealed when they the kissed, I'd been wanting it for many moons (Did i actually just write that?!).

At the end of the last book Savannah discovers she is being hunted down by a witch hunter, who aims to kill her (Duh). She find the witch hunter has ties to some wing-nut shadowy PRO-witch organization, hell bent on exposing supernaturals and taking their powers.

This book is about tying up everything from Savannahs choice, and her past. Re-uniting the family and friends from all the previous books in the process. I was a little worried after reading Waking the Witch as to where Kelley was taking it, but I shouldn't have worried! It's building up to something big and I cannot wait for the next book! 
 

So, I loved it, loved it, lovered it!

I be hauling, they hatin'

God I hate the new blogger. First Tumblr, now this?! Eurgh

Anyway, I went shopping on Friday afternoon, once I had finished my last exam as a little reward to myself. I had really wanted to pick up these shoes from Topshop, but they only had them in a size 4. So I stomped my now boring shoes and left to shop for other goodies. I didn't pick too much up on this trip, however I did pick much more up at a later date. Which I may do a post on later some time. 
Firstly I popped into Urban Outfitters. Now, I don't like Urban Outfitters. I love how the shop is set up, and the feel of it. The home stuff if beyond cute and kitch, and the Jewellery is darling. However, the clothes. Blah. They are too expensive, poorly fitting and just no, no. Well I've seen the two pieces I picked up on a number of blogs and Youtube videos and had been after them for awhile. I seem to have and obsession with crosses at the moment. I'm so hipster.

Above I said I loved their Jewelery. Ah, now after buying the cute little sideways silver cross bracelet I'm not so sure. After wearing it for around 3 days, the silver has already begun to rub off, and the brass it showing through. Am disappoint UO, it's such a delicate little bracelet and I really liked it layered with all my other bracelets and bangles. Secondly, on a much better note I picked up and over sized, long chained gold cross necklace. Oh God, I swear I've worn this everyday since I brought it. It goes with everything (would you judge me If i worked my outfits around the necklace?).

After seeing Danity Dolls nails I've been obsessed with nail art. I read that she used Models Own Nail Art Pen, which I had been meaning to pick up. Boots had a offer for a free Models Own polish in Lilac Dreams if you buy two Models Own products. So I also picked up another nail polish in Juicy Jules, a ridiculous over the top multicolor glitter.
Next I saw Revlon had released their new Limited Edition collection. I wasn't to keen on the lipstick and the lip gloss palette, but Dear Lord the polishes. If I made two polishes, they would be these two colors. Stormy Canvas is muted brown. It's a little like Nails Inc London Polish, which is one of my all time favorite colors, but less pink based. Secondly is Facets of Fuchsia, which is black based purple color chucked full of pink glitter. It's pretty much a dead ring for Deborah Lippmann's Bad Romance polish, but for a fraction of the price.
I picked up another of the Revlon Colorstay eyeliner, which is my go to when I don't have the money for Illamasqua Precision Ink. Broswing the lipsticks, like always, I've been looking for a berry toned one, but can't find the right one. Can you recommed me one? Any brand. But I found this light nude brown. I tought it would be usefule for toning down brighter lipgloss and lipsticks. 

Not much I know. You guys pick anything up recently, or have you tried any of these products? What did you think.

Back, Back Again.


Well, Hello! Where did you all come from? Has it really been 12 days since I last posted, certainly doesn't feel that way at all. I took a slight break from blogging, and the internet in general. I've found it very freeing if not for a better word. It's been since to just sit and read, or go for a walk, me and the boy have even been going for a couple of walks. I also popped how from a couple of days to see the family.
Anyway, now back to blogging! I've got a couple of new post ideas that I want to try out, so please bare with me through it all. Also I need to get back into my old blogging routine, the same usual posts.
Sorry this post isn't much, I'll get a proper post up this afternoon/evening. I hate text only posts so I stuck a graphic I made while avoiding life!
